A Story of Resilience Beyond Expectation!

Dropshot Laundry's story is a testament to unwavering resilience, founded and tested by two immense crises. We opened in April 2021 amid the peak struggles of the COVID-19 pandemic. Recognizing the increasing need for clean and sanitized clothing, especially for essential workers and families, our founders saw an opportunity to provide a valuable service.

With a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction, Dropshot Laundry aimed to set itself apart from other laundry shops. By leveraging our founders’ corporate experience, best practices and proven methodologies, we strived to deliver a high-quality service that met the needs of our customers.

Just as the business found its footing, our commitment was tested in December 2021 by the catastrophic Super Typhoon Odette. The typhoon devastated the region, resulting in massive outages of power, communication, and, critically, clean water supply. Many essential services shut down completely.

While most businesses were forced to close, Dropshot Laundry upheld its mission of service continuity. Our contingency planning, inherited from our founders’ corporate best practices, paid off. We immediately secured alternative water sourcing, allowing us to maintain non-stop operations. We were the only operational laundry in the area, serving not just our regular customers, but also nearby communities.

Dropshot Laundry’s ability to sustain operations continuously through the immediate aftermath of Typhoon Odette cemented our role as an indispensable community pillar. Our successful journey from pandemic launch to typhoon survival demonstrates that by blending disciplined operational excellence with an unwavering commitment to customer needs, a business can achieve sustained success while contributing meaningfully to the resilience and rapid recovery of the local economy.
